Job Description

Organized individual with high attention to detail required to join leading manufacturer.

This deadline driven individual will be responsible for:

Servicing the stock needs of the factory

High level stock control and stock management

Efficient management of stock quantity and quality

Ensuring no stock outs and / or no overstocking

Proper control of stock (receipting and issuing) in line with official purchase orders and requests from the factory

Monthly stock takes, ensuring no adverse variances

Receiving and issuing of stock

Managing returns for non-compliant stock

Managing returns for stock not required

Administration

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Minimum Grade 12 essential

Good working knowledge of Ms Office and Outlook

Valid Forklift licence

Knowledge of best practice warehouse disciplines / procedures

Understanding of buying, costing & creditors systems

Warehouse / materials handling experience

 

WORKING HOURS:

Shift work

Extended hours may be required on weekdays.

Weekend and public holidays work will be required

Be available for month end stock take.
