An opportunity has become available for an experienced Internal Sales Consultant within the Durban area.


Responsibilities and Duties


  • Achieve the monthly sales target.
  • Liaise with existing and new customers on an ongoing basis as per the agreed call cycle. In so doing generate orders and new business and foster strong working relationships.
  • Understand the customers business and product requirements to ensure that we deliver the desired product and customer experience
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the customers’ expectations and aim to match or exceed them when necessary.
  • Maximize the sales opportunity on every quotation
  • Brief and enable the estimators to have complex quotations out within three hours with pictures of the actual or a similar product attached and a relevant upselling statement on the quote.
  • Forward quotations to customers.
  • When required, supply off the shelf samples within 12 hours and factory-made samples within 72 hours.
  • Forward customer purchase orders / orders received to the estimators to be converted to jobs.
  • Communicate lead times to the customers.



  • Matric
  • 3 years Internal Sales experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Professional, responsive, proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, organized, honest and presentable.
  • Driver’s license.
