An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced Assistant Manager: Warehouse and Logistics in Durban.


Responsibilities include:

  • Management of Inventory and logistic processes in line with company and customer
  • Manage the quarterly stock count for customers
  • Investigate stock count variance and identify and counter measure to prevent re occurrence
  • Analysis of warehouse management system performance vs team performance
  • Manage and document Standard Operating Procedures for all processes
  • Management of the team, in line with company expectations
  • Management of teams training and development planning, to provide overall leadership
  • Maintain overall management style that follows company best practices
  • Quality – TQM, full responsibly and accountability
  • Full responsibility for safety
  • Manage the teams HR/IR issues and initiate disciplinary action where necessary



  • Matric
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • 5 – 8 Years’ experience in a similar role
  • Project Management would be an added advantage
  • Business and Financial Acumen
  • Information and Document Management
  • SAP WMS experience required
